JY 110: A review of my junior fall semester courses

Happy Friday Everyone! Today marks the end of my first week back at school and I am really excited for the semester, although I am fairly thrown off by my schedule since I usually have my classes in the morning but this semester they are more in the evening. You can check out my schedule here if you are interested.  This semester I am taking 5 classes and auditing a 6th. I told a friend this recently and they looked at me like I was crazy to which I say I am only doing 17 credits but that is neither here nor there. This week I moved into my apartment on campus. I live in 10 Whitman Way F with three other girls. We have a full kitchen, a living room, dinner table and 2.5 baths. It has been a busy week of cleaning and settling in but it has been fun overall.  If you would like to go on a video tour of my apartment please click here ! The energy on campus is so positive as people are just so happy to be back and there are a lot of familiar faces (behind the masks of course)! People are keeping their distances and wearing masks 98.99% of the time and all social gatherings I have seen so far have been outside with ample spacing. I have my fingers crossed for smooth sailing this semester.  Skidmore has also a graphic that is being updated daily about our "level" and how many cases, tests and quarantines are currently occurring. You can get to it by click here  or by navigating to the main website.  That is it from me for now- I start classes on Monday so I get the next couple of days...

I can't promise that this post will be any better but you will have to read on to see.  This summer has been a mixed bag of emotions with some wonderful highs and some low lows but one that has come with its own surprises and opportunities. So although it may not have been the summer I wanted it was one with some fun memories. Instead of viewing my summer as a series of losses-I tried(and mostly succeeded) to find alternates for what I would have been doing. For instance instead of doing target runs and movie dates with friends, we had socially distanced campfires, ate bagels on benches, an...
