Since May

Hi there! How are you? Oh my goodness, I know its been forever. Let's catch up!

Since May, I have been busy reading books, watching Netflix, pretending to adult, actually adulting, house sitting, packing, attending a conference, and last but certainly not least moving to Pennsylvania!

More important than all the "-ings," was just taking time to relax and hang out with friends. Nicole and I went to a lot of brunches and a Bonsai Bar experience and took a few trips. The first was to Skidmore and then Burlington VT to visit some school friends before heading down to the Cape to help out at my camp for a few days as they got ready for campers.

After that it was back to the "-ings" before heading to St. Louis for my first professional conference. I had a really great time, learned a lot, and more importantly in the eyes of the program made some new friends and lots of connections.

and after St. Louis, I moved to Bethlehem PA and tomorrow I start my first real day of work! I have gotten to meet some of my housemates and they seem really nice, which feels good especially as I hadn't met any of them before I signed the lease (more photos to come soon I promise for real this time)

Since moving on Wednesday, I have been busy unpacking and cleaning. I got a library card and have been running all of the errands and not forcing myself to do it all in one go. Then Sam and Caitlin came down and the three of us went to see Marielle Kraft at MusikFest which was a lot of fun; we even got a picture with her after the performance.

And that brings us up to today, I got up and did a little bit of laundry before heading to an outdoor mall to sit and read for a while. Now I am eating dinner and creating this update to you all. It kind of feels like my first day of school all over again, my outfit is laid out and my things are packed for tomorrow morning. So I guess that it is for now!
Here's to more consistent postings with my next chapter and all my best wishes,
me
