EMT!
I have been home for about a month now and have kept myself busy with reading, crafting, and prepping for camp and for my New York EMT exam.
With the later I am excited to announce that I am officially a New York State EMT! It took a long time to get here but I think it was all worth it. I will be working on getting my national license but for a couple days I am just going to ride the high. Hopefully in the fall I will join the student EMS agency and volunteer part time.
It has been nice to actually sit and exhale, read all the books on my TBR pile. When I finish a book, or I get bored I switch and do some camp prep. This summer I am leadership and program director, which I am excited for but still feels like a bit of a leap having been a Unit Lead and a virtual leadership counselor. But I know it will be fine and I have a team I am excited to work with.
My goal is to write on the blog once a camp session, in part for you all and in part as a way to wrap up a week.
so for now, all my love and if it's raining, stay dry!
