Future Planning
We have reached the point in the semester that I may just hate more than finals and midterms. It is where in addition to regular work, you should be working on your semester long papers and projects as well as figure out what courses you are taking and who you are living with in the fall. I find a lot of that overwhelming so instead here are some fun things that have been going on.
The dinosaur painting I was working on is now finished! I am taking suggestions for their names
My class officers held a paint and sip event, complete with juice boxes because not everyone in my class year is old enough and because only the senior class is allowed to have alcohol at events.
Let's see on a less creative side, I celebrated passover on campus. Hillel hosted a seder which was great with a new Haggadah but less great with the company (given covid rules you have to stay at your assigned table and I didn't really like anyone at my table). However since I am in the apartment I was able to make some delicious Matzah Toffee/Crack (I learned the hardware that very few people actually call it Matzah crack but that is what we call it at home so 🤷♀️)
Passover ended with a carb-olicious dinner which we had a little photoshoot after but with my squinty smile and a mask you can't really see my face Let's see beyond that no much is going on, lot of work but I am still enjoying my classes and they challenge me in ways I don't expect them to.
Even if you are vaccinated, please stay masked and stay safe,
all of my love,
Me
PS some EMT training stories are headed your way soon!
