The one with the 4 am fire alarm
Good Afternoon Friends,
I hope your past month went smoothly. I would apologize for not writing more but I am working on saying sorry less.
Now that I am a month in, I have a better sense of how my time is spent and which classes require a bit more time to do homework. Overall I am very happy with my classes, I am just a little less happy with the average of 5 hours in class a day. The 5 hours a day leave me tired and so understandably I go to bed early (well college early 10:30/45pm) and in turn I tend to wake up between 6:30-7:15 am.
You may be wondering, Olivia what do you do with all that time if you don't have class until 10? Great question hypothetical voice! It depends on the weather but almost everyday I go on a walk or a hike and do a little bit of yoga or like today I go food shopping or do laundry. I know, I know very exciting but I am happy and in a good routine.
So the title of the post "the one with the 4 am fire alarm," this past Thursday, I was awoken to the fire alarm going off in my apartment, naturally we all went outside and 75% of us remembered our masks, interesting that this is the new norm. Campus Safety came and 25 minutes later we were all back inside warming back up and attempting to fall back asleep. For me that was a little evasive and so when I started my day 2 hours later I was very tired. It ended up being such a long day that I even purchased my 4th caffeinated beverage of my college experience.
nevertheless if that is the craziest thing that happens this semester, I won't be upset.
Wishing you a day filled with contentment and ease and ask that you wish me luck for my first EMT test in an hour or so,
me
