I fought the dean and I won!

You know the song that goes "I fought the law and the law won," well this week one of the deans emailed us about move out procedure.

It simply said that everyone is expected to move out on the 20th, which is our last day of classes. So I emailed her expressing my confusion on why we had to move out if there were still classes. We had a nice back in forth and I now have permission to move out of the 21st instead. I then posted in my class Facebook page letting them all know that you don't have to move out on the 20th if you have class.

And I am guessing that many students emailed her because we got this email today!

I know it is not a huge victory but in times of chaos even a small victory is a big win.

That's mostly it for now! I am almost done with midterms-just a Spanish essay left and a presentation next week. I am currently sitting in the library working on a source list and watching facilities clean up the fallen leaves.

I hope you are all doing well and getting flu shots if you haven't yet and I will leave you with this alternate song for washing your hands!
Lots of love,
me
