The ups and downs
So it's been a month but let's be honest we were all expecting my to fall of the bandwagon with writing blog posts so I don't feel too bad.
However let me catch you up on the chaos of the last month
All of my classes are going well!
All of my classes are going well!
- My Exsci class is recorded lectures which does make it harder to want to sit through it, but on the bright side my lab group is thriving and has the best presentation so far.
- My Spanish professor decided to re-write the rest of the syllabus as we weren't going to have time to finish the last unit. Instead we are just reading some of her favorite pieces which in my opinion is way cooler!
- Latin is going well we are essentially carrying on as we did pre-remote learning but it is entertaining to watch the hands rush into the air when there is a particularly easy section.
- Greek art and archeology is also going about the same as before but she always makes a point at the beginning of class to say hi and ask how we are doing.
- Are you sure? is one of my one credit classes and for the most part we are asynchronous in order to work on our projects. Here is the link to mine if you want to see it!
- Uncertain nature is my other one credit and that one has also been asynchronous although on Tuesday I will be giving my final presentation. It is only allowed to be 5 minutes long which is hard given so much research has gone into it.
Besides classes, I have ...
- Started watercolor painting again
- Finished 2 puzzles
- Helped make masks
- Ran student elections for SGA
- Had a rainbow themed dinner
- got accepted into my study abroad
- Had a Greatest Showman themed dinner
- Camp Favorite closed
- A family game night
- Made a back up schedule and registered for courses in case study abroad gets cancelled
- Hillel Elections and board meeting
- Read 50 more pages of War and Peace
- Was offered a job at Camp Runels (almost the same job I would have had at favorite)
- Gave permission for part of my blog to be featured on the Skidmore website
- Registered for a Littleton Hiking Challenge
And of course did homework and annoyed Penny.
I know that is a lot of bullet points but I think it summarizes everything nicely. I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.
Lots of love and support
me
Your positive attitude is serving you well! Sorry about Camp Favorite being cancelled. I know you look forward to that.
