Catch up and The Met

Sorry the past week has been CRAZY

So since I last wrote my stress levels have been all over the place.

I finished getting all of my signatures and I went to Speech night and heard from all of the candidates.  The next morning I voted and continued doing work. Handed in a paper that is due next week and hung out with friends. I also got elected Sophomore class senator and made my schedule ( I register Wednesday AM).
Mel-People loved the apple cake!

Saturday I got up at 6:45 am, which is the earliest I have started moving here in at least 3 weeks. I then got on the bus at 7:15 am and headed off to the big apple. We got to the Met at around 11:30 and then had 30 minutes to go to the bathroom and practice our presentation.

My group presented second and did a good job (one of my team mates heard from our professor today that he thought that we were one of the best!). Then for the next two hours or so everyone else presented and the professors pointed out some of their favorites as well.

Then we had a lot of free time. I spent a bit in Central Park (it made me reminiscent of all the Girl Scout trips to NYC) but mostly stayed in the Museum- taking advantage of my free ticket! I will share some drawings I am working on when they are finished.

Then we hoped back on the bus and headed back to Skidmore. I don't know if it was because I was tired but that was one of the longest bus rides of my life. We left around 7:30 and got back around 11:30.

Any ways, I hope everyone had a nice week and weekend.
More to come soon!
