Wait what

I woke up this morning and totally forgot that it is not February any more.
so sorry for not posting one more time in February as I meant to.

Not much has happened since I last wrote. I am in a big wave of work right now because it is midterm season here. This is crazy to me. In 8 ish weeks I will be a sophomore- holy guacamole!

I have one more week here and then I come home for  spring break.

This past week has been busy-ish. I almost always have something to do but I also have time for myself. I am also trying to avoid the sicknesses that are spreading around campus.
Today my morning class was cancelled, so I chose to be very productive and I finished a lot of works in progress that I had.


Sorry this is really lame. I'm just not sure that I have anything else to share right now.

wait there is something interesting happening.
So at Skidmore we have peer mentors who help out with the first year seminars. I can apply to be a London Peer mentor (every current student who has done the London program is invited to apply) or I can put myself out as a candidate for the Seminar being by the classics department (the topic is about mythology now and then), but I don't have both of the ideal pre-requisites. However I can not do both and I am not sure that I can put myself out there for both.
If people have any thoughts, let me know

I lost the game! and other fun traditions

One day last week, or maybe it was the week before, was national wear your camp t-shirt day-of which no one (at school) that I know participated. However there is no need to fret because yours truly-super counselor extraordinaire remembered and wore her staff shirt from last summer. This combined with the Hillel retreat where we sang a lot of the end of session songs and an email encouraging us to apply for summer 2020, reminded me of all the little traditions from camp that I wish took place more in my daily life. For my camp friends reading this I hope it doesn't make you too nostalgic, and for everyone else maybe this a way to bring a little bit of fun to the office or maybe the holidays. The pineapple game When you are out with a group of people the first one to point to the pineapple and say I win. Wins. Yep- that's the whole game. Less Busy

Yesterday I got up and worked on some papers and then around 11 decided to make up my mind for the day. I had a kind bar and hit the road. I went to the Barbican, Postman's Park, and Postal museum The Barbican is a really unique building because it has plants overall the windows. The Postman's Park is much smaller than many parks that I have been to but that there are some titles that describe heroic events live saving children from a fire. Finally the Postal museum was incredible. I didn't think that I would enjoy it nearly as much as I did. Also at the museum, you can ride the mail rail, which is the old mail cart which would run under the city. Overall I had a great time and I was able to walk most of these so I saw many new parts of the city. Today I leave for Derby today to visit a camp friend. Meal Prep and a Movie

This will be brief because I am going to watch a movie with some friends. Today I got up and read in bed for a bit. I then got up and worked out before going foodshopping. I got stuff for the week and also to make Nutella brownies with. They were pretty good, a little gooey but that didn't stop anyone. I then proofread a paper and did more research for AA overall it was a really chill day.
