One week done

They warned us when we came back that we would have to put ourselves out there and be more extroverted, but I forgot how exhausting it is and this has been a really long week.

Long but a really good first week.

I think that I like my classes and I am really excited to see what will come in the next weeks, but let me give you an overview of my courses.

  • Classical World- Is really interesting and is being taught by the 5 professors of the classics department. Also there is a great reading list for the course.
  • Early Childhood teaching- I didn't realize this one has so many observation hours in a classroom but I am so excited. I start my observations Sunday morning.
  • Spanish- I was really worried that I wouldn't be at the right level but I think that I picked the right one and I have met some people in the class who are really nice.
  • English- this class is my wildcard class because the professor may be retiring soon and there is no syllabus, but I have faith.
  • Cultural anthropology- The professor is so funny and the curriculum is really interesting so far.
Other news...
Roxanne Gay spoke yesterday on our campus and it was really cool. Today I went into town with some of my London friends and I got succulents! I also went swimming in the pool which was a good experience and now I just got back from an a cappella showcase.

Hope you all have a productive Sunday
