Height of the storm and day kind of norm
today was a fairly normal day. nothing super unusual occurred.
I had my advising meeting with Barbara and unless my courses fill up am in pretty good shape for next semester.
Then my "a" key stopped working again so I messaged apple and they told me to update my software, which I thought I had done, and that took close to an hour and a half (uggh). Then Sylvia changed my screen to this really cool design so that is good.
Imagined was fine we finished discussing Mrs. Dalloway today and I am conflicted about it. I really truly hated it in the beginning but it started to grow on me towards the end.
I then had lunch with a whole group and decided that I am not going to stress about course recommendations any more until Monday evening because there is absolutely nothing I can do until I see how courses fill up. I think it is a good decision but we will see.
Theater made my brain hurt. We were discussing realism and naturalism, which are basically the same thing. Also our conversation get circling back around so it didn't feel like I actually gained any knowledge, which I found a bit frustrating. also a quick rant: NO ONE does the readings except me and 5 other girls and it stinks.
After class I came back to chapter and had dinner and hung out with Heidi, Rick and Leanne. Then I headed off to the show.
Height of the Storm was an interesting piece. It ran 90 minutes sans interval and was the second most expensive show we saw. The plot was occasionally hard to follow because the main character had dementia and that was shown through the odd changes. The set was very permanent and the whole show took place in one setting (just like Pressure). I am still undecided on my feelings about/towards it.
Have a fantastic evening
its time to hit the hay
