Tuesday into Wednesday

So yesterday was a bit stressful because I had my last day of Understanding Britain. I had my first college test which I think went fairly well but there was definitely information that we were not taught, which was a bit annoying.

Additionally we did not have a break last night and we went over. I got home around 7:45 and had dinner around 8:15. I then did some reading and worked on my imagined paper and at 11:30 I decided to go to bed. I then got up early this morning and then bot texted me so we talked for about an hour because she needed to talk to someone. I then finished the paper and walked over to IES to print it.

By 2:30 pm today all of my current stressors will be gone and Heidi and I are going to celebrate. Then the next round starts on Friday. Overall I am rocking my first college midterms.

Also fun fact Heidi and I talked and we plan on being roommates back at Skidmore.

    Harder than course load sometimnes is finding a compatible roommate. So glad that you and Heidi connect.

I lost the game! and other fun traditions

One day last week, or maybe it was the week before, was national wear your camp t-shirt day-of which no one (at school) that I know participated. However there is no need to fret because yours truly-super counselor extraordinaire remembered and wore her staff shirt from last summer. This combined with the Hillel retreat where we sang a lot of the end of session songs and an email encouraging us to apply for summer 2020, reminded me of all the little traditions from camp that I wish took place more in my daily life. For my camp friends reading this I hope it doesn't make you too nostalgic, and for everyone else maybe this a way to bring a little bit of fun to the office or maybe the holidays. The pineapple game When you are out with a group of people the first one to point to the pineapple and say I win. Wins. Yep- that's the whole game. Less Busy

Yesterday I got up and worked on some papers and then around 11 decided to make up my mind for the day. I had a kind bar and hit the road. I went to the Barbican, Postman's Park, and Postal museum The Barbican is a really unique building because it has plants overall the windows. The Postman's Park is much smaller than many parks that I have been to but that there are some titles that describe heroic events live saving children from a fire. Finally the Postal museum was incredible. I didn't think that I would enjoy it nearly as much as I did. Also at the museum, you can ride the mail rail, which is the old mail cart which would run under the city. Overall I had a great time and I was able to walk most of these so I saw many new parts of the city. Today I leave for Derby today to visit a camp friend. Meal Prep and a Movie

This will be brief because I am going to watch a movie with some friends. Today I got up and read in bed for a bit. I then got up and worked out before going foodshopping. I got stuff for the week and also to make Nutella brownies with. They were pretty good, a little gooey but that didn't stop anyone. I then proofread a paper and did more research for AA overall it was a really chill day.
