The one with Janet Casey
SO today I slept for 9+ hours and it was fan fricken tactic. I felt so good after getting that much sleep but a little disoriented because I woke up around midnight and couldn't sleep for an hour.
I then showered and got dressed.
Etap today was a little boring but oh well. Janet Casey, the FYE director, was there but more about her later. We talked about literature which was kind of interesting but he made the conversation way deeper than I think it actually is.
Then at lunch today I just chilled with some folks in the student lounge before heading over to the tube station to meet my AA class.
Today we went to the William Morris Gallery, which was so cool. I loved it so much and bonus it was interactive -Yeet! William Morris was a jack of all trades and he made so much unique art from wall paper to tapestry to furniture and even sculptures. It was nice because I have really common interests with Lucinda in regards to art so I got to spend more one on one time with her.
Then we took the 30 minute tube back to Kings Cross. When I got back I did my readings which are due tomorrow and picked up packages and called nicole and then it was time for the study break.
Today we had pizza which was nice and a big Q&A with Janet Casey. The questions ranged all over the place but it was really informative but also low-key stressful because a lot of the things need to happen in a relatively short time period. I know I can get it done but I just need to make a plan but that is not happening tonight as it is almost 10:30. Also we got our goal sheets back and out of my 9 attainable ones I have done 5/6 of them! so go me.
Think that is it for tonight
have a nice evening
