My Trip and Other random information

Good Morning,
Today I leave for my trip I am going to Rome, probably Ercolano, and Florence. I have a flight at 3 and will get to the hostel around 7:30 or 8 pm local time. I will then have 3-ish days in Rome before joining up with some friends in Florence. I am super duper excited! I am leaving chapter around 11 to get an 11:20 train and will arrive at the airport around 12:30.  I mostly packed yesterday so all I need to do is electronics and toiletries. I don't know how regularly I will be posting- you may have to go a week without hearing from me. I fly back on the 16th so you can expect something by the 17th.



There are a few other things that I want to share.

Firstly you all know how I was stressed over my Great Expectations paper. Well I handed it in and the n Barbara's bag, with my paper in it, got stolen! I felt so bad for her so a huge wave of stress hit me over the head again. So I very quickly printed it again and handed it in to someone else because Barbara left. Then I felt better.

Heidi and I have been playing a game where we turn each other into different things on snapchat.

Also I have finished more than 50% of my midterms. I have 2 essays due at the end of break- one just needs polishing whereas the other is a very very rough draft. However I am feeling really good and may be able to finish both of them when I am at different airports and train stations.

One day last week, or maybe it was the week before, was national wear your camp t-shirt day-of which no one (at school) that I know participated. However there is no need to fret because yours truly-super counselor extraordinaire remembered and wore her staff shirt from last summer. This combined with the Hillel retreat where we sang a lot of the end of session songs and an email encouraging us to apply for summer 2020, reminded me of all the little traditions from camp that I wish took place more in my daily life. For my camp friends reading this I hope it doesn't make you too nostalgic, and for everyone else maybe this a way to bring a little bit of fun to the office or maybe the holidays. The pineapple game When you are out with a group of people the first one to point to the pineapple and say I win. Wins. Yep- that's the whole game. Less Busy

Yesterday I got up and worked on some papers and then around 11 decided to make up my mind for the day. I had a kind bar and hit the road. I went to the Barbican, Postman's Park, and Postal museum The Barbican is a really unique building because it has plants overall the windows. The Postman's Park is much smaller than many parks that I have been to but that there are some titles that describe heroic events live saving children from a fire. Finally the Postal museum was incredible. I didn't think that I would enjoy it nearly as much as I did. Also at the museum, you can ride the mail rail, which is the old mail cart which would run under the city. Overall I had a great time and I was able to walk most of these so I saw many new parts of the city. Today I leave for Derby today to visit a camp friend. Meal Prep and a Movie

This will be brief because I am going to watch a movie with some friends. Today I got up and read in bed for a bit. I then got up and worked out before going foodshopping. I got stuff for the week and also to make Nutella brownies with. They were pretty good, a little gooey but that didn't stop anyone. I then proofread a paper and did more research for AA overall it was a really chill day.
