Last day in Italia

Last day in Florence and the Trip, 10/15/16
So today was my last day in Italy. I got up and headed out to meet Kayleigh and Libby. We were going to go to the Duomo but the line was quite long so we ditched it to go to a smaller church around 2 blocks away.It was a lot less stressful and more peaceful. We then wandered around slightly more. When we ended up back at the Duomo we parted ways and I met up with Emily. We walked around a little and then went to lunch. We shared a meat and cheese sampling and had some pizza. I then wandered my way towards where Mitchie is living. We walked around a little and I bought her some gelato because all of her cards were “misplaced” in Spain. We then walked a little more and took a selfie and parted ways. I was meant to meet up with the group again but my phone battery was almost dead so I couldn’t navigate to them.
Instead I watched the sunset from Ponte Vecchio. I then wanted something shiny (I know it sounds silly) so I stopped in a jewelry store and bought myself a necklace. I then made my way to a restaurant and had a nice pasta dish. I was sitting next to these very stereotypical Russian ladies. One of them knew English and asked me about myself and were mildly horrified that I was here alone at age only 18. I then told them I was studying in London and that eased their minds. I am ready to get back to an English speaking country but I will definitely miss Italy-I miss it already and I haven’t even left yet.
On another note today is Daddy’s Birthday! I hope he had an amazing day and I love him very much. (He knows but it is nice to remind him)
