Tired Monday and Happy Jew Year

Today, no one seemed quite able to focus-I think because we are all so tired from the weekend. I got up normal time and got dressed then went on a walk around a park near my classes while listening to Othello(I am presenting on this show after we see it next week).

Then class started. In ETap, we discussed how the world wars affected the British Identity and we discussed the reading we had and our half semester assessment (800 word paper about an article in the news) which is due next week. I just read today's paper and I have 2 possible articles to talk about but I am going to check in with Ged, later this week.
I then had lunch outside with Cali and Heidi and did the ETap readings for next class.
Next was AA and we talked about the significance of portraits and what they can tell us about history. It was very interesting but there was not a lot of note taking and more just looking at pictures on the screen. We also went over some of the upcoming field trips and we are going on so many!

After that I walked back to chapter to drop off my backpack before going food shopping. I bought a lot of food for this week but I only spent 20ish Pounds-go me-saver extraodinare. I came back put stuff away made some dinner and cut up 6 apples and got some honey for our Rosh Hashanah potluck. There are 5 Jews in this program, including Jess, but we had 16 or 17 people join us for the potluck which was super nice.

I think that is all for today, Heidi is currently on the phone, so I am in the lobby trying to get ahead.
