A good day and an impulse decision

So today was overall a really good day,
I went for a walk and then worked out before class. Next I ate and packed up for the day. I got to IES early so that I could print some things but Moodle was being a massive pain and it would not let me log in at all (this was resolved at lunch but I needed it in the morning).

Ethnic Tapestry was good. Everyone has been freaking out about their papers but I finished final edits on mine and am printing it tomorrow-Woot!Woot!. We also had our first presentation in that class and it was not great both in length and presentation skills; however it got an A- so I am not too worried about this class anymore.

Next was my lunch break and during this time I ate, naturally, and also had a meeting with Lucinda to discuss my AA project. She gave some good advice and I will definitely go back and talk to her again about this same project.

Next was AA and we had a field trip today to the British Museum. It is a huge museum and I hope that we discuss it at some point because I definitely missed things.

I then walked back and did some homework. I am ready for my presentation tomorrow in theater! I also read the The play that goes wrong and my ethnic reading for Wednesday.

Then made some dinner and picked up my package.

Sooooooo Last night was just a lot, nothing bad happened but I just felt very emotionally drained but I didn't want to read because I have been doing that all the time...
doing school work? READ
bored? READ
relaxing? READ
so I impulse bought a really cheap sewing machine off amazon. I opened the box today and I was overcome with joy. I took all of the pieces out and set it up. Then I ran down the sleeve of a shirt I found downstairs. I am going to go to a fabric store tomorrow-maybe. I don't know what I will make but I like that I am able to be crafty and people have already asked me to mend stuff. The only downside is that it is quite loud to use. However I am more excited to have something to do that isn't reading.

Cheers
Olivia

  1. The sewing machine is a good impulse. Can't wait to see what you make with it! Send pictures when you do, please.
