A book and a muesum

This morning, I woke up and took some more cold medicine and then spent the entire morning reading a book and eating dry cereal in bed. In case you were curious it is a YA novel, the second in the series, Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab - it is a little dark but has made some more substantial points than in the first novel, it even features a non-binary character in a major role.
Are you ever reading and then you look at the time and although it has only felt like 5 minutes, it has almost been an hour. That was me today and now at 8:20 I am 90% of the way through it.

I then went down to the lobby and walked to the Foundling Museum with a bunch of my classmates for our seminar field trip. I would not have gone to this museum on my own but I loved it and plan on going back. It tells the story of some of the Foundling Children and the Foundling hospital in London. It was such a neat space and I don't know what I want to say on it.
There is one room that is covered with names of characters who were fostered, orphaned, adopted or Foundling and that was really powerful because you don't view a lot of those characters in that light- go check out my Instagram to see what I am talking about.
Here is a preview
Also the museum has the largest collection of fabrics from the 18th century because that is what mothers used to leave as tokens to possibly reclaim there children later. This fabric was used for a stunning exhibit, called Sea. The fabric was coated with plaster and then fired to make all of the delicate pieces. The panorama only shows about 1/4 of all the plasters.

I then came back and got a head start on this week's work and had dinner. I may go watch split with a bunch of the other kids but I may just go to sleep. More updates to come but just know I have class everyday this week and a trip to Scotland this weekend so I can't promise anything as consistently as I have done this past week.
