So much to say and I have just been so tired by the time I get to writing it! 27- was a long day of travel as I headed into New York City. I then met an alumni in the city for dinner. I forgot how disoriented I get in the city, I am so much more of a rural gurl. Grateful for google maps 28 - was just a fine day, nothing wild or crazy, just fun times doing homework and relaxing. Grateful for dinners and light conversations 29 - today was a big day as it was the undergraduate classics conference at which my capstone partner and I presented! It was very cool to connect with other students and learn about their projects. If you are curious you can watch the presentation here . Meanwhile you can enjoy a picture of us after the conference was over. grateful for friends and opportunities!

37 - 30

So its been a busy week so you get a long post!  37 - First night of passover found me hosting, well trying not to host, the Hillel Seder. It took us a while to get the ball rolling but once we did it was a great time and lots of fun was had by all! I also got some exciting news on this day and that carried me through the tougher moments of missing wine 36 - I woke up today with so much snot in my face, I finally caught the skidmore ick, which was not so much fun but I got to sleep for so many hours! grateful for  sleep 35 - Grateful for Matzah Crack aka Matzah Toffee  34  - Grateful for cold meds and that is it 33 - Had my internship today which was really nice because I was back in Albany and I haven't been there in a while, so new people and I got to flex some of my EMT skills by assembling first aid kits, I know I am so cool! Grateful for open doors and opportunities! 32 - Big day, we moved some of my usual meetings so that I could help with graduation fair befor...

You know the kind of days where you are busy but it all feels totally reasonable?  that is kind of the best way to describe Thursday. I woke up knowing what was on tap for the day so when I got started we just hit the ground running.  I don't know if anyone else has felted this recently but I have no desire to put on real world clothes in the morning, maybe this is because I hang out in my pjs for a couple of hours as I wake up and finish last homework/prep for the day. Anywho just wondering if that is a relatable concept.  Grateful for productive meetings, communicated needs, and tests!

40 and 39

Both were good days and have kind of merged together as we carried along! My classes have a state of being at peace in them, but there is definitely some anxiety as covid cases are rising here at Skidmore, I think we have around 40ish student cases and 15 staff and faculty cases. Nevertheless we persist.  This week is medium busy for me as I have a paper due on Thursday and Friday as well as the start of passover! That is all for now,  with the warmest of wishes,  me

42 and 41

42: You know when you are productive all day long but then you look at what you accomplished and none of it was on your to do list? That is probably the best way to describe Saturday. Lots of highs throughout the day mostly tied with social interactions. Despite the covid cases there is still a sort of rise in cheer and sociableness. Ended the night with Moscow mules in the apartment! Grateful for invitations to social events and facetious 41: Yesterday kind of got lost in my housemates' tap performance but I wouldn't change a thing! They were both so happy while performing and the "party" that was hosted afterwards for a while. Then we all attempted to do homework but there wasn't much of a drive to after such a busy weekend!

Friday was a really nice end to a very chaotic work week. It started with my professor moving class out of the classroom and just into the student center, which got tricky towards the end but on the whole was a fun change of pace. I then helped put together a couple of shabbat bags before doing my last springboard interview and attending a meeting with the FYE director and the co London Peer Mentor about a few students! Popped on a SCEMS officer zoom before heading to Senior Swipe night.  This was our first big event of the semester and it was a smashing success! That is all.  Grateful for the end of a long process, contentedness of eating waffles, and small moments of catch up!

44

A lot of my stressors were due so on the whole the day was so much lighter and easier, which was a refreshing change of pace since Friday I got from 9am to 9pm with not really any substantial breaks .  What else is there to share, at work someone fell asleep during the meditation which as funny as it was felt really great because I haven't had attendance in a while so it was a sign that I still got it! I think that is all for today, have a peaceful friday! me

Today was much calmer of a day, by no means any less busy but I felt better after a good night of sleep and a to do list that had more things crossed off than not! To continue shaking up these posts here is a screenshot of today's to do list, or well most of a to do list! Also now that I have processed it, I am excited to announce that I am one of two recipients of the  Candace Carlucci Award! I don't know much about the award but it is really cool to be thought of, a good friend of mine who graduated last year also  received  it so it is cool to follow in her footsteps.  Today's gratitude goes to having a long conversation with my former advisor and hearing that she plans to get us all back together during Senior week

Grateful for small moments of connection, walks, and free snacks! Appreciating the transitions and the moments to exhale.

50 and 49

Maybe we will just settle that the weekend posts will be a little funky! These past two days were really busy but also quite fun. My peer mentor is a rabbinical student and he lead and participated in a series of events with the Shabbaton this weekend. And the jewish bucket list I didn't know I had now has teach Rabbis about how to apply a tourniquet crossed off.  Anywho, I am grateful for bluetooth speakers, Apple Music and methods of organization.

college students tend to pick an adjective as a default to describe their days and for most it is simply fine.  but yesterday really was just fine, nothing wild or crazy to call home about. All of the usual highs and lows acquiesced nicely and were mixed with some unexpected highs.  Grateful for affirmations I received and steps toward the future
