Calling all book lovers

Image
I am back in MA, where the weather is cold with a side of freezing slush. Which is substantially different than the fantastic weather we had in Palm Springs this past week( I will post some pictures from that trip within a week or so). But oh well-we live in New England so it is bound to change soon.  You may be thinking Olivia get to the point the title is about books and you would be correct. I recently got a 3 month kindle unlimited subscription and I am currently a college student on break for another 3 weeks. So that can only mean one thing- time to catch up on my to read pile, which currently is comprised of A Handmaid's Tale , Circe , A song of Achilles  and many more if I look on good reads. However I tend to read fast and so I am calling out to you all for suggestions-they can be of any genre, any plot, any author and any place in the world. So please feel free to put some in the comments or email me directly! Have a safe and warm new years eve and I'...

The 1999 problem

So the problem with being born in 1999, or 2000, is that me and my peer group will never be able to lie about our age because the year will always reflect our age-unless we decide to start counting back down or move to a new dating system-I wouldn't be apposed if we started our counting based on what day of the month it is like the romans did. With that being said-today is my birthday and holy shit I am 20 years old. I will talk to most of you over the next day or so but know that if I don't respond immediately to birthday wishes that I have read and appreciated all of them! I will post more later on what my day entailed but I am sure that it will be great! Lots of love and another year of wisdom (maybe?) Me

Home Sweet Home

It's officially! I have been home for 24 hours!  It was a really good semester. I learned a lot and made some new friends.  Since being home I have enjoyed the little luxuries of not living in a dorm.  consistent wifi  food with little to no grease showers that don't require flip-flops washers and dryers that don't smell like mold a bed that I can starfish in  and so many other things that have yet to present themselves Today I slept in, had brunch with some friends and did a little bit of work to wrap up the semester.  This was always going to be a short post but I wanted to let you all know that I am home and to wish you all a happy start to the holiday season! I am sure I will talk to most of you soon but for now  lots of love  Olivia
