RL 100-7: Welcome to the Multicultural floor

Image
Beware this post is going to be about my room and my floor or as Stephen Colbert says "welcome to the nerd zone" This year I live in the same building as last year but up a floor and over a room (906 to 1007).  The 10th floor of my building is considered special interest housing. This specific interest is multi-cultural. So we are meant to be more of a community and have events that encourage us to share our values and culture with each other. So far we have had a floor meeting and did Dye-versi-Tie (tie-dye and a conversation on colors and their cultural significance) and now we have an ongoing activity called cultural passport to encourage us to interact with the cultural clubs on campus. However my RA hasn't actually planned these the area coordinator did so we will see how well this is maintained during the rest of the year.  I think that is all for now enjoy the pictures below and I will write more soon  Me
