sorry for the delay folks. I just realized that I forgot to share that I will be in California until the 26th. It has been a relaxing couple of days here and a nice change of scenery and pace from Littleton. More tomorrow. Have a great week and holiday! Me Ps. Sorry for the brevity- I am tired

Thursday

So the last time I posted was Saturday.  Sunday  I went to brunch with Bot and it was so so so nice to see her! After brunch, I went to my father's house and hung out with him and the kiddos.  Monday  I had a dentist appointment and finally went back to the High school. It  was a little odd but really nice to see some of my old teachers. Tuesday I got my unibrow taken away. Woot woot! 2 eyebrows! Then I drove to concord for gas and Michaels to pick up pipe cleaners for penny's Girl Scout troop.  Wednesday  I picked Izzy up and we went out for lunch and then drove around littleton because we didn't really have anything else to do. It was a great couple of hours and then I came back and helped Jonathan for a bit. After that I went over to my dad's for dinner. Then we put the kids in bed and he and I chatted. Then I turn and see Seth at the door and he asks how long are we gonna talk like 10 questions. 20 questions.  Thursd...

Nicole and glass

So today I drove out to Umass Amherst. I got spend a few hours with Nicole. We went to her room, which is similar in size to my London dorm, and the dinning hall(where I had a solid waffle!) Then we found somewhere quiet and just chatted for a bit. Then we walked back to my car and I took her off the campus. We went out to lunch at chipotle and after hanging out for a bit I dropped her off and headed back to Littleton. After I got back, I decorated some cookies with Penny and her friend. Then I headed back out to a glass studio in Acton. I made some glass trees and then came back in time for dinner. And that is pretty much it for tonight. I may watch a movie later but that will really all depend on when Penny goes to bed. Goodnight Everybody

Gaps

So I am sorry that there have been more gaps in my posting. I feel like there is nothing super interesting to share with you all. Today I had a couple of appointments and I will be helping build penny's cookie booth. Yeah that is all that is really it. I am going to try to reach out to a bunch of family members tomorrow and start working on my scrapbook. That's all for now Have a great evening Me

Welcome to America

So I have now been back in America for close to 30 hours. Since I have been home, I have accomplished a lot. - I took a shower in my shower! - I slept a lot -I had breakfast with Goo - I now had global entry(skipping passport control and getting precheck) -I made 108 cookies - I had a job interview and I will be back at camp soon. Now it is 8:40, so I will un pack fo around 20 minutes and then go to bed. I am going to make it until 9pm tonight.

Good morning

Okay this is another timed one. It is currently around 5:30 am GMT and 12:30 am Est I am currently sitting in the lobby praying that the last few people get  down here so I can  get on the bus. More updates to come Me

Done done

SO it is currently 6:59 pm on Sunday the 8th of December, 2018. My bags are packed(and stacked by the door) and tomorrow's outfit is laid out on the desk Rent is playing in the background. Now that the mood is set I can explain the significance. I have just over 14 hours left in London and most of those will hopefully be spent sleeping (but that is probably unlikely). This is crazy to me I have been in London for 111 days 2664 hours 159840 minutes Just under 1/3 of this year was spent in a place that was unknown and in a sense foreign to me. Yet, I wouldn't change a thing. I have made this 'scary' place another home away from home and it doesn't feel real that we are actually leaving. I keep thinking of this line we sometimes sing at camp-This is goodnight and not goodbye. Because there is no way that I won't ever travel again that is-that is ridiculous. Despite the confliction, I can't wait to see what the next 159840 minutes entail (minus of cours...

almost all done

So today I took my last final (in theater) and I think it went well overall. Then I came back to chapter to get dressed for my series of afternoon events. First we went on the eye, which was not as fun as I was expecting. People were making it rock and Kaleigh has a fear for nights that this motion wasn't helping her. So we spent the second half of the ride just talking and I was trying to distract her and we had a really nice conversation. After that we walked as a whole group over to dinner at a relatively fancy spot near covent garden. We had a special menu and it was all really delicious. I had baked brie, turkey (not so good), and an amazing chocolate tart. Both Barbara and Rachel gave speeches which were really cute. Then Jess said a small thing and gave us presents (a key chain and notebook) which was really nice and made me tear up a little. Until 6am on Sunday I have no responsibilities or meetings which feels really strange. Someone referred to it as finally being...

All done

Okay so I am now officially done with all academic work associated with my first semester of college. I know it is insane! Also this post was written last night and it set on a timer. Olivia is not even back from the exam yet but that doesn't mean that we can't celebrate for her! You go girl! Any way I hope everyone has a really fantastic day!

AA is finished

So today was a mix of boring and interesting things and I am choosing to skip over the boring because no one really wants to read about it. Today I sat for my AA exam and I am now officially one exam away from being done with my first semester of college!! The exam was about what I expected in terms of difficulty and effort and that made me feel pretty good and I left feeling pretty positive. Then I came back to chapter to drop off my stuff. Then I headed out to get dinner before the study break. The place I wanted to go(because I have a gift card) wouldn't take me so instead I had a pretty good sandwich at a coffee shop and then it was time for the study break. Today we went Ice skating. I have not ice skated since I was under the age of 10. I started off very very slowly staying quite close to the rail but by the end of it I could do a full loop without stopping- so I feel like mission accomplished and overall I had a fun time. Then I walked back with Jay, Lily and Mark. ...

The one with the Mary Poppins Umbrella

So I got almost 12 hours of sleep and I woke up feeling so good! I then accidentally skipped breakfast because I got into a productive grind and am feeling really good for my two finals this week. By 12 pm Thursday here (7 am est) I will have officially completed all academic things associated with my first semester of college!!! After my productivity grind, I had a quick lunch and headed out to a store I have been meaning to visit and right outside there was a publicity stunt. If you took a picture with one of these guys they gave you a free Mary Poppins Umbrella. Go check out my insta to see a picture ( I am working on posting one hereabout my phone is dying) and give it a like. I also used a student discount to order some things from a store instead of buying in person #smart consumer. After that I came back and read my notes for AA and made some dinner. Then I started reading a book that has been on my list and I am almost done with it. What is crazy to me and it keeps hitt...

Closing Symposium

Today I had our seminar closing symposium, which means I am officially done with seminar! Each groups' presentation was so different and that was really really cool to see. My group got a lot of compliments, which made me feel really good and we also made Barbara tear up. Then as we went to leave it began down pouring so by the time I got back to chapter, me and everything I had with me was soaked. Additionally we left the window open so my pillow and blanket had gotten quite damp as well. This put me into a. funk, which was difficult to shake. I ended up going on a pretty lengthy walk in the rain because I couldn't stand being in Chapter. After I got back, I did some doodling and began to brainstorm for my theater final. Now I am doing a little more work and then going to bed because I am exhausted. Olivia PS Happy one month to August!

Happy Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah! I hope you have had a good day. I had a French toast study group for my AA final on Wednesday and then did a few practice runs for my presentation tomorrow. Additionally I also sent Goosey some options for my interview time, which may end up happening while I am in London. It is really weird to me that I am almost done but I think that I am ready to come home. (this will be the first time I am home for more than a week in 6 months) Have a great week everybody Me
